Cooperation with Dhofar University (Oman)
In October 2024, a delegation from the Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences consisting of Prof. Dr. Claudia Becker, Andreas Bittner and Fabienne Schwartz (Department of Sign Language Pedagogy and Audiopedagogy) and Prof. Dr. Sven Jennessen (Department of Pedagogy in Physical and Motor Development Impairment) visited Dhofar University in Salalah, Oman. The aim of Dhofar University is to improve inclusive education in Oman and to make university structures more inclusive. Through a joint symposium, workshops and visits to rehabilitation centers, experiences were exchanged and further cooperation planned. Dhofar University is currently working on a Memorandum of Understanding to describe further cooperation.
