The pedagogy of visual impairment deals with the living conditions of people whose social participation is limited or endangered due to visual impairment. Defects of sight occur when the stimuli received by the visual sensory channel (per unit of time) and supplemented by other senses are insufficient to produce a reconstruction of the reality that contains at least all action-relevant visual information.
