Deaf Pupils' Re-narration – Researching Character Expression in German Sign Language

As part of the Berlin bilingual school experiment pupils' signed retelling of stories had been filmed. This longitudinal study examines which structures students in different age groups use in their re-narrations to reproduce character expression and which developmental patterns may be derived from those findings.
